Donna Paradis, licensed practical nurse, founded our home in 2001.  Our business has been family owned and operated from the beginning of opening our doors.  Donna has worked in many areas of nursing for over 50 years—many of which were in geriatrics.  Donna has four children—Bill, Barry, Melanie, and Michele.  Grandchildren- Bobby, Brittany, Mitchell, & Harrison…one great-grand child, Jake.

Bill Cook is a world traveler.  He has toured more than 45 countries starting his travels at 20 years old.  He has always worked with people and enjoyed meaningful relationships all over the world.  Bill has always enjoyed caring and communicating with the elderly.  One of Bills passions is collecting antiques.  He has a couple booths in the antique shops in Elk Rapids, MI. 

Melanie White is a licensed practical nurse of 23 years, currently continuing education towards an associate degree nursing to be followed by a four year degree.  Melanie enjoys caring for the elderly, volunteering for non-profit organizations in the area, reading, traveling, and spending time with her grandson.  She is also employed at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire, Michigan. 

Tamy, Diane, Pandy, & Sally are terrific care givers and love caring for our residents and making a difference in their lives.  These caregivers go above and beyond!
